Bentaleb was a 17 year old teenager without a club when we picked him up, he's been in our academy for 2 and a half year. Birmingham was among the clubs that turned him down before we got our hands on him.

According to Wikipedia bentaleb was bought from Dunkirk. Dier was rubbish against Liverpool and just coz he scored against west ham doesn't make him great.

Perhaps you should keep a manager for longer than 1 year?? And perhaps you shouldn't sell your best player and buy 10 mediocre players with that money ?

Financially you can compete with anyone. You're a Jewish club ffs

lol! Truly amazing logic.

Totally agree with the bit about managers and not selling best players. The 10 mediocre players thing, well, that's as lazy as the Jew comment. Some of those buys will certainly be duds, some won't. Lloris isn't. Eriksen isn't. Capoue isn't. Dier I doubt will be a flop. We'll see.

Have you ever seen a poor Jew? I rest my case.

Bale could win you games single handedly. Players like capoue, Cireces and soldado can not.

As for your final question, part time man utd fan, full time LAD! Get in!

I don't understand the number being thrown around, circa 1bn for a non-CL club. Meanwhile there's no interest in Newcastle, Villa, or Everton, it's all about location rather than football.

Awesome, we just need a few decades of state sponsored growth like London and we might get a buyer. tongue

It's a nonsense number. They would be lucky to fetch 200m/300m. There isn't much money in Spurs looking at their latest financial report.

It's a nonsense number. They would be lucky to fetch 200m/300m. There isn't much money in Spurs looking at their latest financial report.

Firstly, that 1Billion figure is based on Darren Lewis of the Mirror's 'insider' contacts. Whether it's true or not is conjecture. Spurs have denied it, it's clear they are looking (and have looked) for the optimal financing options for the stadium build, but ENIC are in no hurry to sell.

However, it's nonsense to suggest the clubs is worth 200/300million. The entire squad itself is worth between 100-150million in today's market (subjective of course), then there is the training ground which was only completed 18 months ago which is a huge acred complex within the Greater London area, cost 80 million to build and worth more than that now property values are on the increase. The outstanding Stadium costs (given work has commenced) or the value of the Stadium post completion would be factored into the valuation, that in itself will be around 400 million. Next to no debt, positive revenues from player sales over the last 5 years etc - 200/300 million would not buy Spurs, you're having a laugh.

Latest news is that an investment consortium with 210billion worth of assets are interested in buying (a small minority stakeholder within that firm also funded Magic Johnson's purchase of the LA Lakers). However, sounds like it may just be a big publicity stunt from them. Nobody really knows what's going on yet.

You are talking about funding for the stadium but no debt Isco. You see the flaw here ? Razz

Your latest financial statements show the following (these are only June 13)
- Profit 1.5m (2012 loss 4.2m)
- Cash of a measly 3m
- Player value of 73m
- Land and stadium value of 168m
- Debt / Loans - 57m
- Amounts owed to other teams - 130m

And overall reserves of 78m

So with overall reserves of 78m and bugger all coming in by way of profit every year, god only knows where this 1b valuation has been dreamed up from. Needless to say any real bid won't even reach close to half of that.

Tottenham
There's been a similar tactical push at Tottenham, where Mauricio Pochettino has looked to bring with him all the aspects that made his Southampton side so enjoyable to watch. The Argentinean is renowned for his fondness for a high energy and pressing playing style, and that has already been implemented to some degree at Spurs.

Spurs have improved their averages in terms of both tackles (19.8 to 22.5) and interceptions (14.7 to 15.8 ) whilst also jumping from seventh to second in terms of pass accuracy (86.1%). Only Chelsea and Arsenal have won possession in the attacking third more times this season (18), with Tottenham down in 8th last season in such a statistic. That 'stealing the ball from the opposition' is now one of their team strengths according to WhoScored.com is no coincidence.

With the Dutchie playing just about everyone but De Gea out of position, the game on Sunday against Tottenham may be one of those "I remember what I was doing" type of matches - you know even those not watching the game may remember it when they learn the score.

I wrote many moons ago that a lot of players have decided to not play for that clueless c**t after the way he's treated Falcao, and yesterday's treatment was the last straw. They were chasing the game and he brought in Januzaj to dive for a penalty. lol! lol! lol! lol! lol!

New kit revealed early this year. Probably because the tyre tracks across the front are fitting for the car crash of an ending to our season.
