Brazuca

So has anyone been complaining about the ball? Usually everyone hates the new ball. Maybe adidas finally got it right?

Brazil missed two penalties with it. Bit dubious for a home advantage ball.
But then again, Brazil is Nike.

Not sure if everyone always hates the new ball, but everyone hated the Jubalani as it had an erratic flight path and no-one knew where it was going to go.

The ball is like a ref : if no one mentions it, it's doing an awesome job ok

Right and I think there was a similar issue for the ball in 2002 whatever it was called. Goalkeepers especially were bitching about it non stop but I haven't heard any complaints this time around.

There were rumours just prior to the 2010 WC that the Jabulani was intentionally made to swerve more and be more unpredictable, as to force more (spectacular) longe range goals. Ironically, the unfamiliarity of the players with the ball almost surely attributed to WC 2010 being one of the lowest scoring WC in recent memory.

Unless they are from a random African country like Gambia, I like to patronise them.

Since 2002 I seem to recall players complaining about the ball for one reason or another. But yeah haven't heard a single thing so far so that much be a good sign.
