They could use Ribery this game.

Hardly any creativity combined with the power and pace needed to counterstrike the Germs. All these Matuidi players look great at your Wigan, Spurs in november etc. But they cant make the play with the tropical sun in their back.

You can also see that French rested their players for the third game and had no extra time. Still, we are a bit too defensive here

France are a shite version of Belgium. Hardly create any chances. Jon Snow is the only one standing out today.

Benzema is getting an Amnesty International award : 30 minutes more of this would have been a crime against humankind.

Like Alan Hansen once said...

Though, Griezmann and Valbuane arent Zidane.

They really missed Ribery today.

Good save from Neuer, but a little too late.

France's midfield is all back to front, Matuidi and Pogba ahead of Cabaye, while Cabaye plays some sort of Makelele role.

Mats Hummels = absolute Weltklasse!

Same for Boateng today, awesome central defence, hope Löw sticks with it for the semis. Lahm very strong on the RB position, even Höwedes played well. Neuer excellent as always, and Müller simply amazing. I could have killed Schürrle for wasting those chances to kill the game, Özil was pretty annoying, too, but had no support.

Fourth consecutive WC semi final. I criticised him harshly, but kudos to Löw for taking the risk and doing some substantial changes for this very important match, that took some balls and shows that he is willing to learn after all.

yeah they could've done with Cabaye pushing forward into some shooting positions sometimes.

yeah Hummels was easily Motm. Boateng got lucky a couple times, I'm never wholly convinced by him.
