Losing to a fully fit Barce 1st 11 - including the best player in the World and a supporting act that is pretty much unrivalled - with so many injuries hardly constitutes a FLOP.

I understand Pep isn't German, but really. Come now Otto. Winning the CL is hardly a given. Lewandowski finishes his chance in the first half and things look considerably different. Lost by the finest of margins, and excellent and creditable performance inspite of the eventual scoreline.

agree to most of this

this was a brilliant game that could easily have ended 0:0

or indeed something better for Bayern had Lewa converted his "sitter"

and yes, key players like Robbery were missing

+

Barca have Messi , and he is pretty much a one-off you cannot control completely

still

all I am trying to say is that I am getting fundamentally pissed off about this whole

Pep=GOD

"Pep has reinvented football"

bullshit

Pep inherited a triple winning team from Heynckes

who was not rated AT ALL THAT HIGHLY in Germany

then Pep got clobbered by Real in the CL Semis

remember, Real ALWAYS lose against Bayern

this season, he got eliminated by Klopp's Dortmund in the Cup Semi

(and yes, he is hardly to blame for those farcial penalties)

then, there was the QF in Porto, 3:1

(full of bizarre individual mistakes, I know)

.........

the Bundesliga performances are great

agreed

but GOD Pep is not

and the sheer hype around the Catalan

(Rummenigge saying Bayern would NEVER sack him, he was the BEST EVER..)

is getting on my German tits

that's all

As seen as there isn't much discussion on here nowadays I thought I would provide a link with good discussion about Guardiola's time at Bayern.
