All I have to say is  lol!

What a shock! Messiah thinks Kroos ain't all that because his signed for us. He would have been saying the same nonesense if Suarez had signed for us. Same old Messiah  Doh

I was comparing the styles of play while refering to Hlebagone's post, I wasn't implying that Kroos is better (or worse) than Xavi. But typically, messiah runs amok when someone dares to mention his darlings in the same breath.

The funniest part was the "Germans produce a player with good technique", as if that is a new thing and especially as if Kroos is the only one of the current crop. Mad.

cheers  I was hoping kroos would fall for the Kroos jabs, but Blut did in stead, The world cup win has him believing like kroos.

But seriously now, I like kroos, though not as much as the ones I mention, but besides him passing the ball a lot, he doesn't remind me of Xavi at all.

Xavi is a Buzz of activity, Kroos just passes, I'd take Modric over kroos in all honesty, he is much closer to xavi

Kroos has the second highest distance covered in the WC, after Müller (and more than Mascherano, for example, despite playing 30 minutes less):

But yeah, he just passes the ball... Smile

let`s face it, Xavi had 4 world class years, from 2008 to 2012, there he had unbelievable heights

kroos dominates europe since 2011/12, where he was bayerns best player in the CL

i expect kroos to become the pirlo/xavi of his generation and to outshine every other midfielder in LA LIGA

THINK BETTER NOT ABOUT IT

Xavi was also great from about 04-07 under Rijkaard.

messi also covered more distance than good knows how my players and he walked the entire tournament.

Its not about the Stats, Kroos just doesn't dominate the game the way xavi does even a 20, you got the impression there was like 10 of him on the field.

Maybe Kroos will develop this later, But I doubt it, I see him as a Fine passer with a good shot on him.

Maybe he will prove me wrong in La liga.

Bastian is the guy, As i have been saying for years, he is the next out side of xavi, pirlo,Iniesta(still wasn't man of the match in the final though).

What? Messi covered least ground from all players playing the full 7 matches. Hell, Schweinsteiger covered more ground than him, with roughly 200 Minutes less playing time! That's two full matches!

Schweinsteiger is a strategist. There are similarities, but Kroos, at least in the current stage of his career, is the more attacking minded player. And he is more talented, but hasn't that indomitable fighting spirit and winning mentality of Bastian yet. But Bastian didn't have all that at the age of 24 either. None of the mentioned midfielders had this degree of calmness and maturity at this age.

 ok
Xavi's Been NICE since the 99/00 season under Van Gaal, was just playing with crap barcelona teams until them and one man make not a team

He has been Great since the 04-07 seasons under rijkaard, but was injured for the CL run in, so must people don't remember than, back then accordinf to the euroboard cesc was better than him

since 08-12 He has been GODLY, Untouchable.

Xavi did, just wasn't playing with good teams

He covered the least ground of players that played the 7 games, but more than alot who played 5-6 and he was literally walking the entire WC

I've got a Milan supporting friend living in Barcelona, I remember after the back-to-back Milan collapse in CL (QF Deportivo in '04 and Final Liverpool '05) kept raging and shouting that they had to restart e rebuild a different team - Get rid of those pesky Seedorf-Pirlo-Gattuso and BRING IN XAVI FFS!!

Morata to Juve is on. The details are still sketchy. Just read that it would be a one year loan, then I saw that it's a transfer with a buy back clause for Madrid. Also seen that Negredo could be in line to replace Negredo because he is on the out at City and could be had on the cheap. Wouldn't mind that at all.

Also, Casemiro it looks is finally going to Porto. One year loan. Porto will have a clause to make the move permanent at the end of the year with Madrid holding a buy back clause over the next three seasons.

Real Madrid ready to cash in on Isco to fund James move

The promising Spaniard could be sold as Carlo Ancelotti's side are looking to make room for the Colombia international, with Liverpool keen to lure him to England

Sometimes I do wonder who writes for goal.com; James is coming to "replace" Di Maria. End of.

Interesting story that I don't think anyone mentioned. Apparently the club have signed 18 year old Brazilian left back Abner Felipe Souza de Almeida. Came from Coritiba. I haven't seen an official announcement but the story came out of the Italian press as Roma were apparently close to signing him but the deal fell through at the last minute. Anyhow, I've seen one youtube compilation of Abner playing with the U20s against Uruguay. Created a lot of danger going forward. No defensive highlights apparently. Biggrin The odd thing is that he can't play in RM Castilla. Since Castilla were relegated, it is prohibited to field non-EU foreign players in Segunda B. So either the plan is to loan him or there was a chance that RM Castilla were going to retake a place in Segunda because a couple of the clubs were facing relegation over finances. He looks like he has better physique than Marcelo.

Sure but now we have to replace him with somebody that is capable. Instead we are chasing James Rodriguez. Doh

imo James is young and has a good enough all round game to be converted into a false nine. A genuine false nine, not just an AM playing in attack.

Have you seen the size of that contract? God only knows what all clauses and sub clauses this deal includes. I wouldn't be surprised if Real end up making much more, or end up buying him back for much more. Anything is possible.

The buy-back clause is for €30m, so unless Morata turns into a prolific 25 goals a season striker I don't see Real buying him back.

It's called a signature book:

You stick one page of the contract (printed one-sided) on each page, with colour coded stickers indicating where each person is to sign, including initialing the bottom of each page etc.
