Well he can play ball...Krul is too long in the EPL for being a good footballing keeper.

Midget just got injured it seems.

This is a fetish that will fade, it's still the last thing I would look for in a keeper. It's not like Holland are a good footballing side anyway.

No, it won't. It's the reason Kahn lost the #1 spot to Lehmann, the reason why Van der Sar was still first choice for club and country until 40. If you are a shit footballer, you won't be goal keeper at a top club, just won't happen anymore.

Teams would rather have a diminutive pussy that gets dominated in set pieces? Maybe they would, but they will realise they are wrong sooner or later.

Yes but we see the replays. In real time it looked like a penalty and a red, but the ref bottled giving the red.

I agree about pure shotstoppers, but too many if these footballing GK's are weak on set pieces.

Even if they are both, good shot stoppers and good at set pieces, it's not enough, particularly at top clubs playing a dominant style of football.

Tbh if Jens Lehmann is considered a good footballing GK then Krul isn't doing so bad.

...........and Blind scores 2nd after Luiz gifts him a goal in the box with an attempted flicked clearing header.

2 - 0 down aafter 17 minutes, they are actually doing worse than in the semi final.
