Nope, no Sky subscription... And considering how they've been playing for the last two seasons, that would have been wasted money anyway.

I'll be looking forward to the Sportschau later on. Wink Kind of old skool...

They were clearly better though. Missing a Striker like Lewandowski i guess.

I feel bad for them, want them in the CL again. But its enough time to recover.

There's nothing to laugh about. Word on the street is that it's already done and he will replace departing (PSG?) Ribery.

Bayern won 2:1 in the end, nice goal by Lewandowski and poor foul by Subotic on Ribery when robben converted penalty late in the game.

Veh is a good chap. I somehow disliked him in his early days at Hansa Rostock. But he has grown on me during his time in Frankfurt. Hope he gets a good job again in the Buli.

HSV always gets so humiliated against Bayern...this time 8-0...not even the highest score of the day cause Wolfsburg beat Leverkussen 4-5. 4 goals from Dost. No chance of buying him next summer then.

it seems HSV have hired Labbadia

until summer 2016

maybe he can save them from relegation

-----------------

Klopp will probably leave Dortmund this summer as well

Yikes

which could make room for Tuchel

this could also be the moment Hummels and Guendogan decide to go

the Labbadia move looks weird

then again, what options did they have ?

they needed to find an experienced manager willing to try to keep HSV in the 1.Bundesliga

if he gets relegated, he'll will be , or would have been, the first manager EVER to see the Hanseaten go down

that's one hell of a legacy

this Knaebel clown was way out of his depth

Tuchel refused to step in NOW, he still has a contract with Mainz who are still to play HSV in the relegation battle

Beiersdorfer should have gone for Magath

but did not; you need to be pretty darn strong to survive alongside Felix

and so they ended up with Labbadia, when both Tuchel and Klopp would have been a far better option for a new start at the beginning of next season

somehow, HSV get what they deserve though: it's a joke of a club and Beiersdorfer has now overseen FOUR coaches this season Very Happy

as for Klopp leaving Dortmund Shocked Neutral

he realised that in order to turn the ship around he would have had to make some big cuts, OR leave himself so that a new manager could provide some fresh impetus

so he resigned

what

a

MAN

Wenger should have done the same AGES AGO

unfortunately, there don't seem to be any jobs in the Bundesliga for Klopp now

HSV have gone with Bruno, Stuttgart has hired a complete nobody,

Pep is still at Bayern, Schalke are arch-rivals and Cologne, Berlin, Wolfsburg or Frankfurt are not in the market for a new coach

would be a pity to see Kloppo leave Das Vaterland

easily the best manager in world football now

would make Liverpool the EPL's best club within one season

then again, let him take a one year break and then replace the Bundescremer to lead us to world glory in 2018 Ale

HSV are indeed a fucking joke, which is a sad thing.

Perhaps them going down would be good in the long run, cause something needs to change there. How the 2nd city of Germany can have such a shitty team is beyond me.

As for Kloppo, well in my opinion his stock crashed big time this year. He still has an above then average squad, sure there are loads of injured players, but he should have done better. Have no idea where he is going though. Think he will go abroad. Would be a great candidate to follow Wenger up. He is too young to become a national coach yet.

my hunch is, Labbadia will keep HSV in the 1.Bundesliga

which neither of the two previous clowns would have managed

then he'll start somewhat strongly next season, before everything tails off yet again

no new contract

afterwards, Hrubesch, who will win Olympic Gold in Rio with our U-21, takes over

ah well, at least it never gets boring with HSV Very Happy

------------------------

you are too harsh on Kloppo, fey

this season was a disappointment, granted

but many elements came together

KEY DEPARTURES like Lewa, injuries, even to players who continued to play , but not deliver (like Hummels)

players who completely lost the plot after the World Cup win (Grosskreutz...)

who maybe increasingly saw themselves as just as big as THE FACE of the FRANCHISE, the mighty Klopp himself

hence, paralysis

the Klopp vs Weidenfeller story was just weird

and when Klopp and Kehl shouted at each other during the Gladbach game, reading the game completely differently, you also started to think, maybe they had completely different ideas what the team could still do

the turning point for the Klopp-Dortmund-saga was the Goetze departure, of course

anyway, 7 years at one club is an eternity these days

Klopp leaves Dortmund with his reputation intact

he has already said in the past that he could only do his stuff in either German or English, ie La Liga and Seria A are out

Chelsea and ManU are not in the market for a new gaffer

so Liverpool, ManCity or Arsenal have the chance of a lifetime

Arsenal seem to be married to the frankly ludicrous Wenger

Liverpool are as much of a shambles as HSV , IMHO

and ManCity seem to be run by a Spanish Pep intimus

so who knows

maybe with some luck, the EPL fails to pounce

Klopp takes a break

and joins HSV when Labbadia has hit his customary dip

well, that's my dream scenario cheers

HSV are relegated...after a loss against fucking Bremen of all clubs..I cant see them staying up anymore after this.

Klopp for HSV would be amazing, but that will never happen. He leaves Dortmund, cause he knows that only have a limited transfer kitty, and he wants to rival with the best.

you are so bloddy German, fey

Very Happy

you are as much a pessimist as our friend blut ;

OF COURSE

HSV will

NOT get relegated

we HAMBURGER are FIGHTERS

wir Hamburger sind unabsteigbar

even with  clowns like Labbadia and Beiersdorfer in charge

as always

you and bernd

heard it here first

Ale

Fey wrote:Klopp for HSV would be amazing, but that will never happen. He leaves Dortmund, cause he knows that only have a limited transfer kitty, and he wants to rival with the best.

Klopp is not in it for the money or the transfer kitty

his successes had nothing to do with money

and the truth is

once Dortmund spent big bucks

it was all wasted

which is why he would be so brilliant at " poor" HSV or Liverpool

and very possibly be wasted on ManCity or Bayern

my fear is that after Liverpool's defeat by Aston Villa

they will make a move for him

and even GET HIM

Grr

Kloppo is irreplaceable

not just on but also off the pitch

his press conference where he declared his resignation from Dortmund

should be compulsory study material in German lessons

most professional PR/Marketing/Advertising guys

could not come up with his stuff even if they tried and had all the time in the world

then you watch Labbadia at HSV

and it's as banal as a Wenger, Pep, Loew.... press conference

incidentally, Dortmund have now confirmed TUCHEL will join them for three years

a VERY GOOD MOVE

he's also the real deal

he will definitely lead them back to a league title

------------------

funny reaction by Neuer to the Mueller-Wohlfahrt resignation

he thinks that since MW will remain the doc of the Nationalmannschaft, he still has FULL ACCESS to him

Boateng calls MW an ICON and so it continues

as I said elsewhere

if Bayern get knocked out by Porto

the MW resignation will be considered the beginning of the end of the Pep era

meanwhile, fey

to get back into the

"HSV will remain in the 1.Bundesliga - spirit"

wach and listen to this

the bad guys (Labbadia, van der Vaart, Beiersdorfer...) do NOT get away with it

Walter Matthau (aka Olic)

stops

THEM

Otto, das Spiel is aus!

And quite frankly, they deserve it. If you arent able to change after so many warnings, it will go wrong someday.

There are no big clubs for Klopp!

Or would he be satisfied with something like Newcastle?

well. let's just see where we stand

YOU said, " the game is up, HSV are CERTAINLY going down"

I said, HSV will 100% stay up, they are "unabsteigbar"

what happened in the meantime ?

HSV won their last two games

and are now 14th in the league

cheers

admittedly,

they are still bang in the middle of the relegation battle

still

you would be well advised, my good fey

to stop thinking like a typical blut-like "5-vor-12" German

and start copy-pasting blindly what the German oracle has to say

cheers

as for Klopp

nah, don't think Newcastle is an option

my hunch tells me, he is going to end up at Liverpool

although, frankly, I know nothing about the American owner

will he sack Rodgers ?

how does he tick ?

anybody on here know ?

Liverpool are a joke these days

surely, IF they CAN get Kloppo, they must make a move for him

then again, if the Liverpool decision makers are as THICK as the HSV decision makers

they will come up with something utterly ridiculous

like keeping Rodgers or appointing Carragher or Michael Owen  Biggrin

-------------------------

somehow, you have to feel for anglo these days

Stuttgart are quite likely to get relegated

and Hannover are in HUGE trouble as well

let"s just hope that her THIRD club is not Paderborn or Freiburg

Well, its not over till the fat lady sings..as they say in Germany...

So lets wait, HSV have a habit of fucking things up.

But even though if they make it.

Who says things are gonna change?

For years its going on like this now.

A relegation might actually be good

Think about that!

And I have a feeling Rafa will go back to pool.

So Kloppo doesnt have many teams to pick from right now, perhaps City!

And yes, Stuttgart are down.

Which is a good thing. Though I preferred Bremen obviously.

HSV get a point in Freiburg

cheers

it"s those two clubs + Stuttgart, Paderborn and Hannover that are in the middle of the relegation battle

considering that HSV were ahead of all of them, this point is worth gold

last minute goal by Kacar, who the club has already told he must go next season

let"s hope Stuttgart and Hannover stay in and Paderborn and Freiburg get relegated

the argument that relegation is good for a club is understandable , considering the mess some clubs are in

BUT

careful what you wish for, fey

relegation means cutting the budget in half or so, losing sponsors

ie, sacking people at the club, selling many of the good/expensive players

and in the case of HSV or Stuttgart, being under HUGE media/fan pressure to go up IMMEDIATELY afterwards

Cologne and Berlin managed that

Nuernberg, Kaiserslautern and down here in Munich, 1860

did not

in fact, 1860 are now facing relegation to the third league

Cologne went through relegation and became a BETTER club

so it CAN work

but it's very dangerous

besides

many of the necessary reforms have already been implemented at HSV

they now just need to get rid of the dead wood, like VDV, and keep a manager for for some

Bremen: well blut argued for them getting relegated so that the club would get a much needed reboot, a change of manager would not be enough, he argued

so what happened

they sacked the utterly incompetent Dutt, like I demanded, and appointed a no-name Ukrainian with Frings as assistant

and suddently, with the SAME PLAYERS

they are scraping the Europa League places

sometimes, you don't need open heart surgery when a few homeopathic drops will do, fey

------------------

as for Liverpool

what is their obsession with Benitez ?

he plays Mourinho-like unwatchable football and is dead boring

Kloppo would be a million times better in every respect
