I don't know how we won that. Shite for 89 minutes, looked set to lose 1 - 0 then a smash and grab in the final minutes, from Gibbs and Poldi. Final score 1 - 2. Have to say it was most undeserved though also quite funny lol!

Juve cocking up another easy champions league group. Of course they don't have their own referees in Europe.

NY-Miami: Guess what EPL club wants Rafa Bentez back?
Puro: I don't know, I suppose Liverpool would be in much better place after forking out over 200 million with Rafa leading them and with a good club owner. Newcastle perhaps?

NY-Miami: Napoli didn't back him so Rafa's heading to [....] next.

Its not fair that people expect Juve to win in Europe without the dodgy penalties and offside goals... its just not their style. Laughing

To be fair, Rafa wasted like 100m of Napoli's money last season without improving the team at all...

I wonder if Liverpool can find a buyer for Balotelli.. It's going to get more and more difficult to sell him.

Pretty much what I expected last night.

When your defence is this bad and you're struggling for goals that aren't scored by Richard Dunne then you're always going to lose to a world class footballing team and the current champions of Europe.

We started well with the atmosphere playing a part but ultimately our limitations were exposed within 15 minutes and once Madrid scored their first we had nothing to come back with.

A sublime bit of play for their first goal - as much of a twat as Ronaldo is he is a stunning player. Our defence were shitting themselves for most of that game with him running at them. He embarrassed us.

Second and third goals were same old shite defending/goalkeeping. Rubbish.

I thought Lovren had a better game but our fullbacks were eaten alive. Johnson is absolutely disgraceful. I'm extremely worried that Rodgers can't see what a pathetic player he is.

Mignolet pulls off some good saves but I'm not going to applaud them when we're a few goals down because his positioning is laughable. Time to bin him in January and get Valdez or Lloris.

Sterling found it tough. He ran none stop but this was a game too far for him. He's desperately trying to be our Suarez/Sturridge hybrid and it's just too much for him. He's 19 and he's caught up in a media storm because of the fuckwit Hodgson then trying to be our only danger against Real Madrid. It's a shame because he's going to be next to leave us for bigger and better things. When your team comes within a few points of winning a title and then you let your only world class player go, don't plan ahead for Sturridge being injured and are left trying to play football with Balotelli and Lazar fucking Markovic then I can't blame Sterling when he goes to City/Chelsea.

How Rodgers didn't start with Can/Lallana is utterly baffling. Can came on far too late - he looked the only player able to compete with Madrid in that midfield.

All in all it wasn't humiliating by any means but it showed us exactly where we are right now. We can't compete with the big teams when we can't defend and have no goal threat. It's unforgivable to be in this position 5 months after we were destroying teams on a monthly basis. Questions have started to be asked and will continue to do so.

Thankfully. Ludogorets did us a favour but right now any of us them or Basel could qualify in second.

We're going to lose to Madrid again so we're going to have to beat both of the other teams and even that might not be enough. I can't even see us getting a point in Ludogorets and that says it all.

Beaten by a far superior team. Well done Madrid.

Madrid away and for the first time in this competition away at a big team we actually have 0 chance of getting anything.

I don't think Rodgers is tactically good enough in big games mixed with how utter shite we've been defensively and offensively and how good Madrid have been this season.

Anything better than a 2-0 loss would be respectable.

Such a shame what we've become. God we were spoilt under Rafa in Europe.

Quite impressed with the line up tonight - we are going to lose whoever we play but Brendan has had the balls to drop Balo, Gerrard, Johnson and Lovren. All haven't justified their places.

Interesting but could potentially be a 6-0 loss.

Love how people are pretending the players dropped would be any better - Sterling is knackered but he's the only one I'm disappointed isn't playing.

The performance vs Newcastle was utterly disgraceful. The players deserved to be dropped.

Maybe so but they weren't any good at home vs Madrid and Sterling is absolutely ran into the ground. You can't honestly say those players right now would make much difference.

Lallana, Can, Toure, Borini, Lucas have all shown enough to say give them a chance. It's bold in this game but it can't be any worse than the dross of the last few months.
