I dont mind Everton, City, and to some degree (current) Liverpool in Europe as they tend to play with some flair. Ditto Arsenal who I at least can respect. However, the way United and Chelsea have been playing in Europe in recent seasons delights me when they lose as their muggy, defensive style is utterly unwarranted given their financial and hierchical statuses within the European game.

But why would any non Chelsea fan want them to win, they are a horrible club with a load of cuntish players

Maybe my post wasnt clear: as a supporter of an EPL club, I like seeing Chelsea and other EPL clubs lose. Whereas Milan / Bayern fans on here for example seem to like to see all their league's clubs doing well in Europe. Different mentality.

tbh the Bayern/Milan fans on here are not really representative. I'm pretty sure that Inter/Milan/Roma etc fans are all happy to see Juve lose in Europe.

Sure, I was just referencing posters on this board, not fans in general.

I have to say I want all English clubs to lose, but i'm a very bitter individual. I remember backing Boro and Fulham, but I doubt I would again, ever since our relegation season I just want to watch the world burn, and it's everyone elses fault.

PSG do better in the CL down to ten men than they do with ten men plus Ibrahimovic.... It's probably a good thing he'll be suspended for the next game, he's a curse!

Many, many moons ago, on July 5, 1982 I thought football died. The awesome Brasil were beaten by speculative 11-men-behind-the-ball who prayed to catch something, anything on the counter.

Last night in the Copa Libertadores, Per champions Sporting Cristal faced Argentina champions Racing (in their own house) and went toe to toe with the Argies.

Today, PSG with only ten men deserved their progress.

The cynical, speculative, 11 men behind the football, the German way, etc. all of that is making way to the pure football. Football may have experienced a resurrection with Mourinho's demise.

Brazil shot themselves in the foot in 1982 with some shambolic defending, and that numpty Serginho up front. For younger readers he was like a black Fred.

Get rid of the away goals, that way it forces people like Maureen to play ball. At least he wont destroy two legs.

Also football would be better if defenders arent allowed, cause I still fail to see the point of them.

Alwaye found it amusing how much you hate(d) Villa ever since that relegation day. Villa to me have been one of the most inoffensive teams in the league for some time now. Even their pitch invasion the other day was comically unthreatening.

Villa are never going to be liked up here, but I think much of the hate was dealt with in our first season back and the 6-0 win. Not including the top clubs they wouldn't be in my preferred relegation 3, I spread alot of hate around the league, but at the same time them going down would feel poetic.

Not really, it's the carling cup. I think i've only ever watched a few games of that competition and they've all involved Newcastle, i've no idea who won it last season.

Attacking lineup by Arsenal: Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud, Welbeck & Sanchez all start. get an early goal and they got a chance.

hope they do win, Monaco are a bit of a pointless club.

Thank God that Simeone has started Koke in center midfield, in the last leg the lack of quality in midfield was what made Atletico so shit. Gabi and Mario Suarez shouldn't be playing together any more as Gabi is declining and Suarez has always been average in possession, to put it kindly.

It will also be interesting to see how Cani plays in such a big game.

I have the tie as 50/50, if Bayer score one then Atletico need 3 goals.

Shit just seen that Godin is suspended. Evil or Very Mad
