Premier League Festive Fixtures 28/29 December 2014

Post by Luis on Sat Dec 27, 2014 5:34 pm

Sunday

Tottenham v Man Utd (12.00)

Southampton v Chelsea (14.05)

Aston Villa v Sunderland (15.00)

Hull v Leicester (15.00)

Man City v Burnley (15.00)

QPR v Crystal Palace (15.00)

Stoke v West Brom (15.00)

West Ham v Arsenal (15.00)

Newcastle v Everton (16.15)

Monday

Liverpool v Swansea (20.00)

----------------------

We all go again.

Some interesting games this weekend with many of the teams in the top half of the table playing each other.

Spuds vs United should be good - United are on a brilliant run of wins but Spuds are getting the rub of the green - this game will tell us if United can win the title or not.

Southampton vs Chelsea is another good looking game, we all thought Saints were on the decline but two good wins vs Everton and Palace have shown they are serious about challenging for 4th.

Hammers vs Arsenal and us vs the Swans could go some way to having a better idea of who is a serious contender for 4th and who is just a big faker.

And it's live!

The Rugby tackles Ashley Young on Townsend who was going to be in 1v1, and Rooney on Kane at the set-piece, not to mention RVP's cheap shot on Vertonghen - nice to see referees are back on board with Man Utd Ale

Lloris is the best keeper in the league. Easily.

They dominated first half but didnt have a shot on goal in the second. So much for HSWHW. Fraud.

Considering the amount of money NET SPENT by United in the summer, plus benefit of no European football to contend with, a draw was a good result. Pochettino's team is still clearly a work in progress, however has transformed the fitness levels at the club since he has been here. Ended that game very much on top. Scoring lots of late goals as opposed to conceding them (as was a clear problem in the past). Eriksen could barely last 60 minutes last season given his conditioning to play in the Dutch Pussy Divisie. He's now scuttling around to the very last minute like the Duracell bunny thanks to Poch, and making an utter mockery of the criticism laid down by one certain Gayenoord supporting fan. More goals than HSWHW this season.

Spurs are only the third team in the Premier League era to go 5 league games unbeaten against the Red Devils, after Liverpool (2000-2002) and Blackburn Rovers (2004-2006)

Can we play these c**ts every week? Grr

Kimbo, why would Martnez throw away a game just like that? scratch

He had it right with his starting XI, got the lead, Newcastle tied but Everton were the better team in the first half.

And then...he brings Barkley and the "60 million midfielder" lol! lol! lol! does a Jesus and tells Newcastle to raise from the dead. Laugh

Barkley's a bit shite isn't he! Everton WITHOUT him were game, but with him on the pitch they're down 2-0.

Everton have been shit nearly all game, their strikers can't shoot, their midfield is weak, and their defence is amateurish, like ours. tongue

Redcafe says it, so it must be true. You havent beaten us since 2012. A point is a result for a midtable non European side like yourselves.

By the way, Van Gaal complaining his side were tired in the 2nd half because of the Christmas schedule Laugh Almost a bigger Dutch berk than you Fey. Played 10 games less than us this season, spent 180million more in the summer. Sums up the delusion of plastic Dutch United fans.

If we are midtable then wtf is Spurs?

You are so below us you can shake hands with Jacques Cousteau.

And yeah, redcafe is one of the better footy forums out there.

As for that "havent beaten us since 2012"

Well, how many away wins at top 4 clubs since Jurassic Park was released again?

Quite sad that one of your cheaper signings is actually your best player, but then again, Eriksen cant freekick you in the top4 either.

You really said that? How many away wins

Mes amis! the colossal game Ohio State vs. Alabama can't come soon enough. Anyone watching this 'war'? Shocked

Think Bayern Munich or Real Madrid at their peak going against Barcelona at their very best.

I can't wait for the game to begin. This game will break a lot of records of TV audience. The people here just can not wait much more. Whoop Whoop
