Hey Luis, how about that Coutinho assist to Lallana! Whoop

It may not have been as spectacular as this one from Csar Cueto

but it was pretty awesome never the less. <Ale>

Sterling 1000% should of been sent off if you go by the letter of the law. Amazing

Froze my nuts off at Anfield tonight but it was worth it! Liverpool of last season came out to play for the second time this season.

Lallana and Coutinho majestic.

Can at the back did a great job.

Less said about Mignolet the better.

5 points off 4th with Leicester at home up next is a good position to be in all things considered.

I agree and obviously Shelvey as well. In terms of retrospective action though, Gary Neville is spot on with what he said - neither player can be punished because there's no way in hell the ref and the linesman can claim they didn't see both incidents - it would be shameful.

You missed out the main reason Liverpool played better, they finally dropped Gerrard

Gerrard needs to be managed in the same way Lampard is to get the best out of him but I agree - Henderson seems to step up when Gerrard isn't playing. I wasn't particularly bowled over by Lucas though.

The sooner we buy a goalkeeper and Sturridge returns the better chance we have of scraping 4th.

Classic bit of fa action, Shelvey punished, Sterling not.

More classic FA: they rescinded Gabby's red card from the other day but they've still fined Villa 30k for the players' reaction to it..

Nonsense but finally the FA do us a favour. If that had been Suarez or Balotelli they'd probably have got a 20 match ban.

Shelvey is one that usually gets away with it, last season nothing came of him nutting Debuchy. It's all random.
