Make or break tonight. Draw keeps us in it, win and we're in a great position, loss and it's slipping away.

Don't think we'll lose being at home but not sure we have enough to win unless Sturridge starts and is in form.

Still think we do.

Spurs are more of an attacking threat at the minute because Eriksen and Kane are on fire. Coutinho and Sterling have been fantastic recently but ultimately it's come to nothing a lot of the time as shite like Lambert or Borini haven't taken the chances. Now Sturridge is back that might change.

Predicted team:

Mignolet

Can
Skrtel
Sakho

Markovic
Ibe
Henderson
Allen

Sterling
Coutinho
Sturridge

More money for players and their agents.

This is also interesting:

Tony Fernandes wrote:"Still a bit to go but I'm very happy".
"Think I have got my dream manager. Not what anyone thinks. Press all wrong."
Now I expect to be seriously disappointed.

It reminds me a similar qoute from Dave Whelan (I think) a few years ago before he hired Steve Bruce. Which was commented with a loud laughter here.

On paper our team looks underwhelming. However, when you see Bentaleb and Mason dominating a midfield with as much class as Arsenal's, 'on paper' is somewhat misleading.

I do think tonight is going to be a step too far. Coming so soon after the high of the NLD - reminds me of the lethargic performance we put in against Palace a few days after beating Chelsea 5-3. Given our team is averaged as the youngest in the Premier League, consistency cannot be expected as a given.

I'll be happy with a draw. This time last year, Liverpool were miles and miles ahead of us - not only in the head to head, but across the league itself. Even if we lose tonight, as long as it's not a drubbing (which I doubt it would be), the gap has clearly closed much quicker than anyone could possibly have anticipated.

Very entertaining match so far a Anfield, especially first 30 minutes was fun.

Poor goalkeeping by Lloris when Markovic scored.

It's amazing how easily is to bully Sakho despite his huge physique.

Mason has been diabolical.

Sturridge lacking that sharpness. Coutinho looks at 80%. Ibe is going to be big.

Think it will end in a draw.

He made amends though. Kane tackled Can, break is on and ref called it a foul.

I don't want to hear anyone blaming the ref. This game shows what happens if you have two teams play with ambition. United would have come here and defended like Burnley.
