Mike Ashley says he will not sell the club until they win something.. And he won't be picking the new manager.

Should've kept Agger.

Bit embarrassing for Gerrard like.. Lampard showing the retirees how it's done.

6 minutes to go in 1H and 4 - 0 up, Walcott with a hat trick. Villa losing to Burnley.

Stoke 4 - 0 up now. Charlie Adam with the fourth. Rodgers out?

Update:5 - 0 to Stoke.

I like him - as I said in the LFC thread he has no chance here with the current lack of ambition at the club but this will cost him his job IMO. Dalglish was sacked and he even won a trophy that season.

The current lack of ambition? They gave him loads of money and he shit it away. How's that anyone else's fault?!

If Levy was in charge of Liverpool Rodgers wouldn't even get to do a halftime team talk.

Still they can all blame Sterling for this.

Ale

Liverpool spent more gross and net after Suarez than Spurs did replacing Bale and we got rightly pillored.

After player sales the owners gave us 25-30 million. We did piss that away granted but that's the price of half a top quality player for the likes of Chelsea, City, United and Arsenal.

We'll be signing Benteke this summer and that's about it.

We need someone to make us a defensive, boring unit to win 1-0 like Chelsea. Ancelotti or Rafa would be perfect.

The Americans might as well just tell Rodgers and his staff to forget about doing the thorough investigation into the utterly disastrous campaign and delivering the findings at the next meeting, and just get the f**k out immediately after the match. Shocked

I've never seen a worst manager at Liverpool and we've had Hodgson recently.

"Welcome back Seor Rafael Bentez" - The Americans

So Liverpool's form tanks as Gerrard comes back into the side. Loyal to the club, he's done them a massive favour by making the decision to leave, a decision the club and Rodgers looked too sentimental to make.

Rodgers continues to fail to show he can produce a credible defence over the course of a season.

I don't understand the national outrage over Sterling, he's looking for a bigger club with more money, same reason he left QPR. But because he wants to leave Liverpool he has pissed on the Virgin Mary.

I agree with you for once.

If he was a scouser then yeah but we mean nothing to him. I'm actually surprised Coutinho doesn't want to leave. No ambition, no CL and we haven't had a spine since 2009.

The facts are he spent a lot and it's gone to shit. 20m on Lovren who has been poor, 20-25m on Lallana who I think has had his moments but largely has disappointed.. 10m on Can who has been shit and he seems to like playing him out of position. Not sure how much on Lambert but I'd pass that as he was just meant to be a backup.. Then what on Balotelli? 15m? I don't know who else got signed but we're already up near 100m.. And you're getting beat 5-0 by Stoke. Don't tell us that's the owners fault..

The horror as I realise we're finishing behind Spurs ffs.

At least Southampton are ensuring our season doesn't start on 2nd July.
