Juve did invest a lot this year, by italian standards.

It's just that it's so hard to pull off a half squad revamp after 4 years of success.

Plus the club didn't really obtain exactly what they looked for on the market - and in part they even didn't seem to know exactly what they wanted.

And Allegri is deftly not the best coach to do this job.

Wise and experienced enough to keep running a well built machine at full speed - yes.
Talented enough to rebuild another himself - not so much.

Mr Bee still hasn't got the cash to buy his stake in Milan. I'm not surprised, it is never going to happen

Yeah, they only invested 127 million this summer which is much more than anyone else in Serie A and also the most they have ever invested in a summer (apart from 2001 when they spent the Zidane money)... that must be the problem.

Too bad that they wasted most of it.

I know what you mean. Its been a long time since I have been so excited about Inter games, even though we are still playing quite poorly.

Im sure its a record! Milan invested the same as well didnt they. Its the EPL-fication of the Serie A. Paying 20-30 odd millions for random Italians aint investing for me.

Anyway, looks like an exciting year, anyone can win it. Would be so awesome if Fiorentina or Napoli pull it off.

Game of two halves. Gary Medel was a beast. Jovetic good as well.

Yup. Barzagli, Cuadrado and Buffon had a great game too. I guess its a fair result.

I think our defence is looking reasonably organised. Our attack still is a mess tho.

Final Standigs Serie A

Post by Luigi93 on Sun Oct 25, 2015 4:58 pm

I follow very Seria A and i think that the final standings will so:

1 Napoli ( the team that plays better and more fit)
2 Juve ( The Team with more strong players but they are all new therefore, they will do fatigue at do good game)
3 Roma ( team very strong but not ready because she has a poor defense
4 Inter ( Inter have did a good transfer market but not is at the level of the first three)
5 Fiorentina ( Revelation of the year, Good players, good coach and good staff)
6 Lazio ( she is more suitable for this place Europa League )

These are place Champions and Europa League then come the other.

I really would love to see Fiorentina win it but Napoli would be great too. I think eventually Juventus will get their act together but it will be very even this year so looks like one of the more exciting title races in recent times.

That is not a bad prediction IF the teams continue to play like they are now. But this season is a bit crazy... its very hard to predict right now. Lets see what kind of form these teams have in Jan-Feb, thats when things will become more clear. January transfer window, injuries, and most importantly how the new players gel together is going be make a big impact.

But for now, let me enjoy this - perhaps for the last time this season:

I think it's between Roma and Napoli. Inter just don't score enough goals and probably won't even get a CL spot.

Serie A attendances so far... Inter have been lucky because of 3 big games (Milan, Juve, & Fiorentina) but the Roma numbers are very impressive. Looks like the fans believe this season...

And we are still top. That was an awesome display of defense and counter attack. Stopping Roma from scoring is quite an achievement.

I am not a big fan of Szczesny these days, but don't really understand Garcia criticizing him heavily after Medel goal.

It was more bad finishing from Roma than good defending from Inter.

Szczesny has always been a numpty, he should easily have saved that shot.

Head to head between the 7 big sides:

This is why a lot of people expect Napoli to do well this season.

Serie A team of the week... with an Inter spine:
