One of my favourite Premier League players has started new season very well - Riyad Mahrez already scored twice and is threatening as (almost) always. Huge talent, Leicester bought him for only 500k pounds two years ago.

Barkley thinks he has some kind of divine right to shoot on sight. Idiot.

Another season of mid-table mediocrity beckons for Everton. No European football, no chance of winning anything, average players, guaranteed to finish 7th - 12th, shit booing fans, shit stadium etc

Serves them right. c**ts.

They've been inexplicably optimistic, I don't understand why. A lot of them seem to think Dick Advocaat is a top class manager. scratch

Cheats! Offside! Foul!

Norwich were better but couldn't finish for shit, expect Palace to sit back and try to win 1-0 though.

Norwich won't be staying up this season, toothless upfront and amateurish defending. I'm calling it now, them and Sunderland will make up 2 of the 3.

Ref did them a big favour today, I saw enough to be confident they're going to have a shit season though.

So unbelivably bitter Kimmy. At least when I hated Hodgson his shitness was evident for all to see (and still is). You seem to be dismissing every win Palace have - face it, they've been very good since Pardew went there.

True ok

So I will talk to Debbie about Rudy Gestede instead - looks like a very good transfer for 6m pounds Ale

At least he was bought by manager who is not afraid to tell his players to put some crosses.

At every club Pardew has been at he has started well and then it has gone downhill, his record is there for all to see, but he's a media darling and it gets ignored. History tells us Palace will have a poor season, call it bitterness if you like. Today Norwich had a perfectly good goal ruled out at 1-2, Palace got lucky and didn't play very well.

The football media in this country is one big boys club, the broadcasters are in bed with the pundits(Ian Wright back on MOTD ffs), the pundits are in bed with some of the managers, and they're all in bed with the London journo's, who just act like information leeches and don't actually watch most of the teams they get paid to comment on. This is why Newcastle fans are so bitchy about Pardew, and why sackpardew.com was set up, we've to deal with so much misinformation, they've even been telling us we're going to miss Pardew's "open attacking football". Erm

And yes, when we are proven right I am going to cover myself in custard and do the helicopter. It will be glorious. Ale

Sunderland look really shite tbh! They might go down this year, as a kid I used to mix them up with Southampton...what a difference these days!

Southampton might actually grow to a really big club, they are in the south, have money, highly educated fans etc. They could surpass Spurs over time.

Definite pen and red - If Courtois doesn't make that foul then Gomis scores the goal.

Swansea have really impressed - never given up at any point and shown a great intensity.

Jose will no doubt claim some sort of unjustness.

Very good match by Montero, he is very exciting to watch when healthy. I wish Villarreal management were more patient with him, as he was clearly talented.

Yeah Montero been great. Shelvey as well!

A Swansea win here would be interesting with Chelsea playing City next week.
